Frequently asked Questions

  • An EMDR Intensive is a focused, immersive format that allows us to work more deeply in a shorter period of time. Instead of the stop-and-start rhythm of weekly sessions, we spend several hours together over consecutive days—building momentum, minimizing interruptions, and supporting more meaningful processing. Intensives remove the constant opening and closing that happens in traditional therapy and are especially helpful if you find that standard session lengths never give you enough time to settle in or make real progress. Weekly therapy is offered by our team for clients who prefer steady, consistent care.

  • Intensives are often a good fit if you're seeking deeper healing without waiting months, feel stuck in long-standing patterns, or have a demanding schedule that makes weekly therapy difficult. They can be especially helpful if you've already done therapy but sense there's more work to do at the root or if you're ready for a more focused, transformational approach.

  • No. Many clients work with me exclusively for an intensive without having been in weekly therapy. We begin with an introductory call to ensure the format aligns with your goals, then schedule a preparation session before your intensive begins.

  • You'll receive guidance on grounding and regulation tools, what to expect, how to prepare, and how to care for your body and mind throughout the process. We'll also meet for a dedicated preparation call to clarify your goals, review any questions, and ensure you feel grounded and ready to begin.

  • We spend several hours together blending EMDR, somatic and neuro-affective practices, parts work, and relational attunement. The pacing is thoughtful and collaborative, with grounding and integration woven throughout the day based on what your system needs in each moment.

    An example timeline:

    • 10:00am-11:15am Restorative practice

    • 11:15am -4:00pm EMDR and therapy

    • Lunch ordered at time of choice

  • Most clients feel lighter, clearer, or more regulated following an intensive. Some feel reflective or tired for a day or two as their system continues to integrate. You'll receive integration guidance, and we can schedule follow-up sessions if additional support would be helpful.

  • Yes. Our team of EMDR-trained therapists offers weekly therapy using a trauma-centered, relational approach. We provide 90-minute sessions that blend EMDR, somatic awareness, parts work, and attachment-based modalities.

  • Yes. We offer both ketamine-assisted EMDR and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) in collaboration with Dr. Weiner, who conducts a medical screening before this work begins. Ketamine can deepen emotional access, reduce avoidance, and support more flexible processing during therapy.

  • These are body-based sessions with the licensed and registered occupational therapist on staff. We integrate restorative yoga, breathwork, sensory regulation, meditation, sound healing, and Reiki during these sessions to support nervous system regulation and help anchor the therapeutic work in your body.

  • We are a fully private pay practice. Operating under a private-pay model allows us to provide enhanced privacy and a higher level of customization in each session.

  • Yes. We have experience with executives, entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals, and professional athletes. Our approach is tailored to honor the privacy needs, emotional demands, and scheduling complexities that come with high-responsibility roles.

  • Our team offers virtual weekly therapy for clients located in Florida. Intensives are held in person at our Fort Lauderdale office.

  • Begin by completing our inquiry form and scheduling an introductory call. We'll discuss your needs, answer any questions, and help you determine the best next step for your healing journey.
