lōmii 5: EMDR intensives in fort lauderdale

a 5 day trauma therapy retreat

Lōmii 5 is a 5-day individual trauma therapy retreat combining EMDR reprocessing, occupational therapy and somatic practices, parts work, and optional ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. The work takes place 1:1 in a private clinical setting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is led by EMDRIA-certified clinicians with advanced training in complex trauma, attachment, and dissociation.

The intensive is not a substitute for inpatient care, residential treatment, or psychiatric hospitalization. It is a bounded clinical container for adults who are clinically stable and ready for focused work on specific trauma targets.

maybe you can relate

You've been carrying this long enough.

You may have built a career, a family, relationships that look, by most measures, successful. Inside, something persists. Attachment wounds that surface in intimacy. Complex post-traumatic stress that weekly therapy hasn't resolved. Betrayal trauma whose impact refuses to fade with time. Childhood and developmental trauma whose effects you can name clearly but cannot shift. Chronic dysregulation or dissociative experiences that remain despite years of insight-oriented work.

Many of our clients have done significant prior therapy. They have read widely, tried modalities, gained insight. What remains is the specific work that weekly therapy is structurally not designed to do: sustained, contained, deep reprocessing with a skilled clinical team.

“Jess has been instrumental in my healing.”

“Through one of the most difficult times and transitions in my life, she has been there in the most supportive, nonjudgmental way. She has helped me with insight into past traumas, and how they affect my present life, relationships, decisions and actions. Jess is an expert who truly cares about her patients and is 1000% invested in our wellbeing. I always look forward to our sessions. From the first time I spoke with her, I felt truly supported and understood… she’s got you.”

Who our intensives are for

Our intensives are designed for high-achieving adults: executives, entrepreneurs, athletes, physicians, and creatives who appear outwardly composed and successful while carrying significant internal pressure, attachment wounds, or unresolved trauma. Most have done substantial therapy already and have awareness and insight into what is holding them back. What brings them to us is the specific work weekly therapy is structurally not designed to do.

Lōmii 5

Five-day multimodal intensive

Lōmii 5 is a five-day individual trauma intensive combining EMDR reprocessing, occupational therapy, and somatic practices, designed for adults who have already engaged in prior therapy yet continue to feel stuck in long-standing patterns, emotional responses, or embodied stress.

This format allows for sustained attention, relational continuity, and careful pacing, creating the conditions for deeper processing than weekly therapy can typically support. The work is trauma-centered, collaborative, and tailored to your unique history, capacity, and goals.

Throughout the intensive, somatic and body-based support is provided by Emmy Slaibe, OTR/L, a licensed occupational therapist with advanced training in functional and sensory assessment. Her work also incorporates somatic breathwork, restorative yoga, sound-based regulation, and reiki. Emmy's role supports nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and the transitions between deeper processing sessions.

Lōmii Assisted Intensive

Five-day ketamine-assisted EMDR intensive

The Lōmii Assisted Intensive integrates ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) with EMDR, parts work, and somatic therapy within a grounded, trauma-centered container.

This offering is designed for individuals who feel emotionally stuck, disconnected, or limited by conventional therapeutic pacing, and who are open to working with non-ordinary states as part of a carefully supported healing process.

Somatic and body-based integration is provided throughout the intensive by Emmy, whose work supports regulation, grounding, and post-session integration—particularly important in medicine-assisted contexts.

The focus remains on integration, not experience alone. Medicine-assisted sessions are woven thoughtfully with preparation, therapeutic processing, and embodied integration.

    • Comprehensive roadmap and preparatory resourcing session

    • Coordination with a trusted prescribing provider for KAP sessions

    • Therapeutic support before, during, and after medicine sessions

    • Choice of format, based on clinical fit:

      • KAP + Integration: emotional processing with somatic and body-based integration

      • Ketamine-Assisted EMDR™: low-dose ketamine paired with EMDR to access deeper trauma layers

    • Integrated somatic support with Emmy, including breathwork, gentle movement, and grounding practices

    • Optional sound baths or Reiki with Emmy, when clinically appropriate and desired

    • Post-intensive follow-up and curated aftercare support

  • Extended or priority-access therapy sessions

  • One or more Lōmii Intensives within a defined timeframe

  • Ongoing integration support between intensive phases

  • Integrated somatic work with Emmy during intensive periods

What to expect from the process

Initial consultation

We begin with an introductory call to discuss your goals, assess fit, and answer any questions you have about the intensive format. This conversation helps us both determine if an intensive is the right path for you.

Preparation phase

Before your intensive, we'll meet for a dedicated preparation session where we review what to expect, establish grounding practices, and ensure you feel ready. You'll also receive guidance on how to care for your body and mind during the process.

The intensive experience

Over the course of a few days, we spend several focused hours together. Sessions integrate EMDR, attachment-focused therapy, somatic and neuro-affective practices, parts work, and optional ketamine-assisted therapy—all paced thoughtfully around what your system needs.

Integration and follow-up

After your intensive, you'll receive integration guidance to support the shifts you've made. We can schedule follow-up sessions as needed to help you anchor the work and continue moving forward with clarity and stability.
