Good fit for EMDR intensives, high performers, and complex trauma

Hi, I’m Jessica. I’m Lōmii’s founder, and I'm both a certified EMDR therapist and EMDRIA Consultant-in-Training, one of a small number of clinicians in South Florida working at this level of EMDR specialization.

I also work exclusively in an intensive format with my own clients, which means I don't split focus across a large weekly caseload. Where most EMDR therapists in the Fort Lauderdale area offer standard weekly sessions, I offer something different: curated, multi-day EMDR Intensives that integrate advanced EMDR, somatic and neuro-affective approaches, parts work, and—when clinically appropriate—ketamine-assisted EMDR in collaboration with a licensed medical provider.

This format is designed for people who have already done work on themselves and are ready to go deeper, faster, and with a level of clinical precision and relational attunement that weekly therapy rarely allows.

Credentials: Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida #MH18995, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio #E.2505047, EMDRIA-Certified EMDR Therapist, EMDRIA Consultant-in-Training, Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Provider

Focus areas: Complex and developmental trauma, betrayal trauma, attachment disruptions, dissociation, addiction and compulsive behaviors, high-performing and high-visibility clients, ketamine-assisted EMDR and KAP, EMDR Intensives

Arianna Mucci, RMHCI

Good fit for weekly EMDR therapy, emotional overwhelm, and clients seeking a gentle, steady therapeutic presence

I'm an EMDR-trained therapist offering weekly, 90-minute EMDR sessions for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and patterns that feel difficult to shift—and what I bring to this work that's harder to find elsewhere is a particular kind of steadiness.

My background in high-acuity clinical environments has shaped me into a clinician who can hold real depth and intensity without losing warmth or groundedness, which means clients who have felt overwhelmed or destabilized in previous therapy often find that our work together moves at a pace that actually feels sustainable.

Unlike working with a generalist therapist, you're working within a practice built entirely around EMDR and complex trauma—with clinical oversight from an EMDRIA-certified consultant—so the care you receive is both relationally attuned and clinically grounded in the approach from day one.

Credentials: Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida #IMH25868, EMDR-trained, actively pursuing EMDRIA certification under the supervision of Jessica Ronyak, LMHC, LPCC

Focus areas: Complex trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, abuse and neglect, trauma- and stress-related disorders; in-person and telehealth weekly EMDR therapy

Good fit for clients seeking EMDR alongside somatic and spiritually integrative approaches, including ketamine-assisted therapy

I'm a certified EMDR therapist and EMDRIA Consultant-in-Training who works at the intersection of clinical precision and integrative healing. For clients who sense that their path forward involves more than talk therapy alone, that distinction matters.

Where Jessica focuses on intensive-format EMDR, and Arianna brings a steady relational presence to weekly work, my niche is weaving EMDR together with somatic experiencing, embodiment practices, and trauma-informed yoga in a way that honors both the science and the deeper, more embodied dimensions of healing.

I'm also in training for psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and offer ketamine-assisted therapy as part of an intentional, integrated treatment approach, making me one of the few EMDR therapists in the area who can hold both the clinical rigor of EMDR and the full spectrum of what integrative healing can offer.

Credentials: Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida #MH19326, Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia #LPC014021, EMDRIA-Certified EMDR Therapist, EMDRIA Consultant-in-Training, Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy training in progress through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute

Focus areas: Trauma, depression, anxiety, relational and attachment wounds, life transitions, somatic and embodiment-based approaches, ketamine-assisted therapy, EMDR Intensives; virtual therapy across Florida

What sets our practice apart from other Fort Lauderdale EMDR therapy providers

our ethos

Advanced EMDR expertise across the full team

Every clinician at Lōmii is EMDRIA-certified, working toward certification, or an EMDRIA Consultant-in-Training—not simply "EMDR trained." This distinction matters.

90-minute sessions are standard here

All weekly EMDR sessions are a minimum of 90 minutes. Meaningful trauma reprocessing cannot be rushed, and we won't try.

Ketamine-Assisted EMDR™ and KAP options

In collaboration with a licensed medical provider, we offer ketamine-assisted EMDR and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for clients whose goals and clinical readiness warrant this approach.

Multi-day EMDR Intensives as a flagship offering

We are one of the few practices in South Florida offering curated, multi-day EMDR Intensives led by an EMDRIA-certified therapist, designed for clients who want focused, accelerated healing without the interruption of weekly open-and-close cycles.

Integrative somatic support under one roof

Clients have access to restorative yoga, breathwork, sensory regulation, sound healing, and Reiki offered by our licensed Occupational Therapist, supporting regulation and integration alongside the therapeutic work.

A boutique, high-touch experience

We keep caseloads intentionally small, maintain close clinical coordination across our team, and design care that is personalized from first inquiry through completion of treatment.

FAQs about EMDR therapy

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based, eight-phase therapy designed to help the brain and body process experiences that remain unresolved. It uses bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements or tapping—to support the brain's natural integration process, reducing the emotional charge of distressing memories and shifting long-standing patterns at their root.

  • While EMDR was initially developed as a trauma treatment, emerging research shows that it can be used effectively for a wide range of issues. In our experience, EMDR can be beneficial for people experiencing complex and developmental trauma, PTSD, attachment wounds, betrayal trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, and emotional dysregulation. We find that it can also be especially helpful for high-functioning individuals who carry internal struggles that don’t always appear as diagnosable conditions but significantly affect their quality of life and relationships.

  • EMDR may be a strong fit if you feel stuck in repeating patterns, understand your history but can't seem to shift how it shows up in your body or relationships, or have pursued other forms of therapy without reaching the depth of change you're seeking. Schedule a no-obligation introductory call with our team so we can offer our professional recommendation.

  • Weekly EMDR therapy offers a steady, relational rhythm suited to clients who value consistency and gradual pacing. An EMDR intensive is better suited to those who want focused, accelerated work—particularly those with demanding schedules, prior therapy experience, or a readiness to commit to deeper processing in a concentrated timeframe. Both are offered at Lōmii Studio, and our team can help you identify which path makes the most sense.

  • Standard 50-minute EMDR sessions may be covered by insurance, but we find that these insurance-mandated constraints inhibit our clients’ healing. This is why we operate as a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. This model allows for extended sessions, intensive formats, and a highly individualized approach to care.
